Susan Fischer | Firm Administrator
I enjoy the sense of community involvement, team work, and camaraderie at Sample & Bailey. Everyone I work with, from interns to shareholders, is committed to providing high quality services to our clients and support for our community while maintaining our great working environment.
After growing up in Weld County, Susan graduated from Colorado State University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with an accounting concentration and a minor in residential construction management. Before joining Sample & Bailey, Susan worked as a controller for various construction-related businesses in Denver and Cheyenne before moving back to the northern Colorado area to work as a practice administrator and CFO for two hospital-based medical practices.
Brenna Olwine | IT Coordinator
Sample & Bailey has always been very flexible with my part-time schedule, allowing me to balance work with motherhood. That, coupled with working with a team of people I can trust, makes it a great place to work.
Brenna grew up in Denver and Fort Collins, and she received her Bachelor of Science in Equine Science from Colorado State University in 1992. After school, she made Fort Collins her permanent home. Brenna manages the firm’s day-to-day IT needs.

Kelly Bailey | Administrative Assistant - Audit
The Audit Department has been the perfect job, as it allows me to have a part-time professional life and still balance my important domestic responsibilities.
Kelly attended Western State College in Gunnison, CO and she worked in banking and mortgage lending for 10 years prior to being a stay-at-home mom for eight years. In 1996, Kelly started working for our firm as the Administrative Asstistant for our CPE Certification Courses. Then, in 1998, Kelly transitioned to her current part-time position in the Audit Department. Kelly is a huge Colorado Rockies fan, and she also enjoys biking, hiking, fly fishing, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Amber Kirkpatrick | Billing Supervisor
People at Sample & Bailey have positive attitudes and are willing to help each other as a team. The firm cares about my personal life and career development by allowing me to work part-time and care for my twin boys.
Amber grew up in Southern China and began her career as an office manager at an import and export company in Xiamen, China. In 2004, she moved to Fort Collins, and, in 2008, she graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting. She enjoys spending time with her twin sons, as well as reading, gardening, and cooking.
Cassie Burgess | Staff
I chose Sample & Bailey because we are focused on helping each other attain our career goals. The firm has a positive, fun work environment where I have the opportunity to learn and constantly grow as a professional. I enjoy working here because of how focused the firm is on our community and clients, too.
Cassie was born and raised in Fort Collins, CO. She attended the University of Idaho and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting. After graduation, she began her career at Sample & Bailey as an intern. She is now working part-time while studying to achieve her CPA certification.
Sandra Pantano | Receptionist
I am thrilled to be a part of the Sample & Bailey team. Our passion for the client, community, and employees, made my choice to become a part of this unique business an easy decision. I am proud to be part of the team and legacy that is Sample & Bailey.
Sandy is a Fort Collins native, and her two children are the fifth generation raised in the Fort Collins/Windsor area. Sandy’s been an administrative professional for more than 25 years, and it is her passion to help clients and colleagues with their needs. When not at work, she and her husband of 30 years love to watch the Colorado Avalanche, go to the beach and share in their children’s lives.
