Sample & Bailey is everything that I was looking for in an accounting firm. We are Northern Colorado’s premier accounting firm because we are strongly rooted in our local community, and we possess the knowledge, depth, and resources of a national firm.
Jesse earned his Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from Washburn University. Prior to joining Sample & Bailey in 2011, Jesse spent twelve years in public accounting and two years as a CFO of a regional retailer. His experience has been with both public and closely-held companies in a variety of industries including retail, financial institutions, construction, and not-for-profit.

Dawn Reed, CPA | Supervisor
I enjoy developing lasting relationships with my clients and being a resource to them. I picked Sample & Bailey because we are a local firm that is able to offer the same services as a national firm thanks, in part, to our affiliation with PKF. My experience with the firm includes performing attestation services, primarily audits and reviews.
Dawn earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Western New England University in 2001 and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Connecticut in 2002. She received her CPA designation in 2005. Prior to moving to Fort Collins, she worked for KPMG and Wolf and Company, P.C., a PKF firm based out of Boston, MA. She also spent four years in private industry as the Financial Accounting Manager at an international retailer.

Carrie Endres, CPA | Supervisor
Sample & Bailey is a very team-oriented firm, and we’re always involved in activities in the community all year long. Sample & Bailey encourages me and the entire staff to participate in activities and events that enhance our well-being.
Carrie earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Northern Colorado in 2008 and became a CPA in March of 2011. She joined Sample & Bailey as an intern in 2007 and was hired on in the audit group in the summer of 2008.

Molly Lockman | Senior
I was drawn to Sample & Bailey by the team-oriented atmosphere. Everyone is willing to help anyone further their knowledge and career. I also have the opportunity to work with several clients in many different industries, and Sample & Bailey empowers me to provide each client with personalized audit and accounting services.
Molly graduated from Colorado State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She began her career with Sample & Bailey as an intern in 2006 and was later hired into the audit department as a staff accountant. She is currently a senior accountant within the audit department and working towards her CPA license.

Francine Cooper | Senior
The characteristics that I enjoy about my job are the constant interaction and team work between our clients and our audit team. Sample & Bailey’s family oriented atmosphere is the same thing that appealed to me as an intern and is still true today.
Frannie earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Colorado State University in May 2008. She joined Sample & Bailey as an intern during the spring of 2008 and was hired into the audit group in the fall of 2008. She is currently pursuing a CPA designation.

Dena Sporleder | Staff
Sample & Bailey is full of positive upbeat members who enjoy working together as a team. The open door policy of our shareholders and managers adds to this positive climate. The diverse clients we work with make every day interesting and a great learning experience.
Dena grew up in Iowa, and received a Bachelor of Science at Western Illinois University and then earned a Master of Science in Accounting from Colorado State University in May 2011. She joined Sample & Bailey as an intern in 2010 and was hired on full-time in the audit department in the summer of 2011. She is currently working on obtaining her CPA license.
