S&B participated in the Jingle Bell Run/Walk with other runners and walkers in Northern Colorado raising more than $17,000 to fight arthritis. It was a fun and festive way to kick off the holidays by helping others!
S&B had two shareholders (Steve Collins & Denise Juliana) and four staff (Kara, Cindy, Cassandra, & Lisa) sleep out in the S&B parking lot to raise approximately $1,000. The money raised was donated to the Homelessness Prevention Initiative which provides emergency rental assistance to low-income families and disabled adults in the Fort Collins area facing eviction due to a temporary financial crisis.
A large energetic S&B group joined many others from the Fort Collins community to walk 1.8 miles which raised a total of over $60,000 for the ALS Association. The ALS Association relentlessly pursues its mission to help people living with ALS and to leave no stone unturned in search for a cure.
Approximately 20+ S&B staff gathered in a bowling fundraiser to raise approximately $1,200 in “college funds” for the son of their co-worker who succumbed to Melanoma Carcinoma Sarcoma two years ago.
S&B sponsored a team to compete in the SSSC, and the event raised approximately $45,000. The SSSC is a unique sporting event aimed at raising awareness and funds for Partners Mentoring Youth. It was a great opportunity to bond in a fun and competitive environment.
