Steve D. Collins, MS, CPA, ABV

Steve earned his Bachelors degree in accounting from Fort Lewis College and his Masters degree with a focus in auditing from Colorado State University. He earned his CPA designation in 1977 and his ABV in 1998. Steve joined Sample & Bailey CPAs in 1988, after spending ten years with a firm in western Colorado. He became a shareholder in 1991. Steve manages the financial statement services for the firm, and is responsible for the firm’s financial statement technical review and the quality control policies and implementations. Steve’s areas of accounting and auditing are centered on manufacturing, real estate development, medical services, and construction.
