Denise earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Georgia and her Master of Accountancy in Taxation from Colorado State University. She earned her CPA designation in 1992. Denise joined Sample & Bailey in 1991 and became a shareholder in 2000. Denise is the Managing Partner for the firm, and she specializes in tax planning and compliance for business and individual clients. She enjoys working with closely-held businesses, start-up companies, and international tax matters. Recently, she has been focusing much of her time in the Clean Energy and Renewable Energy industries. There are many deductions and tax credits available to encourage innovation, and Denise is well-versed in the requirements for these opportunities.
